No matter your preference in entertainment — movies, music or video games — there’s something on Google Play Store that will be right up your alley.

Terraria

Not to be confused with its sandboxy PC counterpart, Terraria is an open-world game that you can carry in your pocket. Explore vast worlds, mine for resources and craft a variety of tools and weapons — it’s one of our favorite games to play on Android because it’s simple to get into but has plenty of depth. When it comes to Android games, one of my personal favorites is PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. However, a few months ago I noticed that PUBG Mobile was starting to pick up popularity. If you haven’t heard of it yet, PUBG Mobile is basically a mobile port of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, but with its own set of tweaks and improvements.

7: Vainglory

Vainglory

Vainglory is a mobile game that’s been widely played for about two years now. If you’re not sure what Vainglory is, don’t worry — I’ve included a link to an explanatory video from IGN below. As you can see in that clip, it’s a strategy-based multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) title. The gameplay itself takes place on a 3v3 map, and two teams will attempt to destroy each other’s base using unit waves and character skills.

8: Subway Surfers

Subway Surfers

Subway Surfers is a running game with many twists and turns. You play as one of several teenage graffiti artists who are tagging subway cars. The goal of each level is to run through a subway station without getting caught by security guards on patrol. If you’re caught, you must restart from the beginning of that level. And like most other mobile games, you can expect in-app purchases to help speed up your progress.

9: Asphalt Xtreme

Asphalt Xtreme

There’s nothing quite like drifting an oversized SUV through tight turns and swerving around oncoming traffic to put a smile on your face. Asphalt Xtreme ($1, download) is all about that rush. If you’re familiar with racing games, you’ll feel right at home here. Keep an eye out for power-ups along your way and watch out for police trying to chase you down as you play through various levels.

10: Talking Tom Pool Party

Talking Tom Pool Party

If you’re looking for a great game that doesn’t require much effort to play, then Talking Tom Pool Party is worth checking out. The idea behind it is that you take your favorite talking cat and make him dive into a pool filled with fun toys, food, and other underwater delights.
