Introduction
It’s that time of year again! The kids are headed back to school and so are college students. Whether you’re a new student or a returning one, you’ll need to know how to register and login to Blackboard DCCCD.
What Is Blackboard?
Blackboard is a website that allows Dallas County Community College District students to register for classes, check grades, pay tuition, and more.
- In order to login and register for Blackboard DCCCD, you will need your student ID number and your date of birth.
- If you have never used Blackboard before, you will need to create an account. To do this, go to the Blackboard website and click on the Create an Account link.
You will then be asked to provide some personal information, such as your name, address, and email address. Once you have created your account, you will be able to login and access all of the features of Blackboard.
Blackboard is a great resource for Dallas County Community College District students.
Why Is This Important?
As the fall semester approaches, students will need to know how to register and login to Blackboard DCCCD in order to access their course materials. This is important because Blackboard DCCCD is the online platform used by Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) schools for distance learning. Students will use Blackboard DCCCD to submit assignments, take exams, and participate in discussion boards with their classmates and instructors.
There Are Two Main Ways to Get Access to MyDCCCD Resources
Students who want to login and register for Blackboard DCCCD in 2022 can do so in one of two ways. The first way is by signing up for a MyDCCCD account. This account will give you access to all of the resources that DCCCD offers, including Blackboard. The second way to get access to Blackboard is by signing up for a Blackboard-specific account. This account will only give you access to Blackboard and its features; you will not be able to access any other MyDCCCD resources.
Once I’m Registered, What Next?
Assuming you’re already accepted to a Dallas County Community College District school, the next step is registering for classes. That’s where Blackboard comes in. Blackboard is DCCCD’s online learning management system, and it’s where you’ll access your course materials, syllabi, announcements, and more. Here’s a step-by-step guide to logging in and registering for classes on Blackboard DCCCD.
A Word about Personal Email Addresses and MyDCCCD Email Address Syncing
Before we dive in, there are a couple things you should know about using your personal email address with Blackboard DCCCD. First, if you plan on using your personal email address to register for classes or login to Blackboard, you’ll need to make sure that your MyDCCCD email address is synced with your personal email account. To do this, simply login to your MyDCCCD account and click on the Email tab. From there, you’ll be able to enter in your personal email address and choose how often you’d like your MyDCCCD email messages to be forwarded to your personal account. Now let’s take a look at how to log into and register for Blackboard DCCCD in 2022.
Don’t Forget To Activate Your NetID and Password!
It’s that time of year again! The leaves are changing color, a chill is in the air, and students are preparing to return to school. If you’re a student at a Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) school, that means logging in and registering for Blackboard DCCCD. Here’s a quick guide on how to do both! You’ll need your NetID and password from your last semester of classes.
A NetID and password were automatically assigned to you when you registered for classes last semester, but if this is your first semester using Blackboard DCCCD or if you don’t remember what they were, here’s how to find them:
- Log into Blackboard. Your NetID should be listed under the My Profile tab along with your name;
- Open up Password Manager located below your account information.
If All Else Fails…
If you’re having trouble logging in or registering for Blackboard DCCCD, don’t worry! We’ve got you covered with a step-by-step guide. First things first, find your EID Number. It’s a 6 digit number that’s unique to you and can be found on your ID card. Next, go to the log in page and enter your eID Number as well as your password (the same one you use for other district services). After that, click login at the bottom of the screen and ta-da! You should be able to access Blackboard DCCCD now just like any other student at our school.
