NATO plans to deploy troops permanently on the border to deter Russia

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has caused the worst refugee crisis in Europe since World War II. Western nations, therefore, have to rethink their defense policies, the report said.

Meanwhile, the AFP news agency reported that Ukrainian troops were preparing for a major offensive against Russian forces in eastern Ukraine. Kiev says thousands of civilians have fled their homes for fear of an impending Russian attack.

The evacuation of people from the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk began on Saturday. Earlier in the day, 52 people were killed in a missile attack on a railway station in Kramatorsk on Friday. Since then, Western leaders have begun touring Kiev.

The latest British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, visited Kyiv yesterday and praised Ukraine’s efforts to deal with Russian troops. He promised to supply more weapons to Ukraine. The promise was made by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom shortly after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced preparations for war against Russian troops.
